Scott Weiner has over 20 years of experience investing in life science venture capital companies and has been involved in over 40 investments including 4D Molecular Therapeutics, Plexxikon, Rotation Medical, TESARO, and Velos Bio.

Scott was previously a Partner at Amzak Health where he led biotech investing. Prior to that he spent 14 years at Pappas Capital as a Principal and Partner focused on venture investments. Scott was previously an Investment Analyst Silverback Asset Management, a Vice President at Chicago Growth Partners, and an Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers where he worked in New York, London and Hong Kong.

Scott received an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business where he was a Thomas F. Keller Scholar and received the Robert F. Garda Endowment Scholarship. He graduated summa cum laude and received a BS in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy from Duke University.
